Another planet has joined the Capricorn party, and it is the
lovely Venus. Venus living in this earthy sign for the next 3 weeks will be serious
business, especially since it’ll be in league with Mercury and Pluto during this
time.
Are we getting the message from the cosmos yet? That it’s
time to work, to build, to get rid of the distractions and garbage from our
lives? This Venus transit will make the process a little sweeter, a little
easier.
Some folks aren’t always thrilled when Venus transits
Capricorn: it’s not considered an easy, or sexy transit. I say pish-posh to
that; after all Pan was a goat, and who is more randy than that guy? Sex could get a
little weird, a little animalistic because that’s the road some Capricorns
take.
Venus in Capricorn is a time of keeping impulses and desires
under control; this is Venus being careful and serious about the future, about
everything truth be told. This is Venus of substance…industrious. This is the
kind of Venus that will have a pre-nup presented before she even accepts the
engagement ring.
This is also a transit about building, seeing results…making
commitments. Love has to be earned. Everything has to be
functional, have a use or just be something that could be built upon. No waste
here.
I think that it’s a good thing to throw Venus into the
Capricorn mix; she won’t be as bright and shiny as she usually is…however she
will add a little bit of lightness to the necessary heaviness of the Capricorn
landscape right about now.
With this transit, we will be able to get down to it, and
weed away all the crap that is keeping us from having the kind of love we want,
get paid what we know we are worth, and be as beautiful/handsome as we want to
be. Nothing is stopping this Venus from getting what she wants here.
Whatever is left after the excavation of this transit (linked
up with Pluto of course) will the stuff of legends and has serious lasting
power.
