WEEKLY HOROSCOPES - DISCOVERY

Here we go, and now the year can officially begin! Since we started 2017 under the messiness of a Mercury RX, it didn’t feel as if we could have a fresh start. Frustrating, I know. However we are out of the shadow of the Mercury RX, we have completed our first New Moon of the year (it was in Aquarius, and all about thinking outside of the box).

This week Mercury is busy; He makes a conjunction to Pluto, a sextile to Chiron and a square to Jupiter. If you have been trying to hide from a certain conversation, that just will not happen. Venus moves into Aries… things will get hot very fast.

Now this week has a lot of heat, and nothing to stop us (energetically of course) to keep us from moving ahead. There are some things that need to happen, some conversations that need to be had and plans that need to be made.

CRIB SHEETS ON HOW TO HANDLE THIS WEEK’S ENERGY:

ARIES SUN/RISING: I know that your sign isn’t the chattiest when it comes to talking about feelings…but this week you may not have a choice. The odds look pretty high that your hand will be forced in one way or another, and there will be a conversation (or 2) that will be had that you’ve been trying to avoid…even though you aren’t aware of it. Just have the conversation, get it over and done with and let that propel you into a new phase of being you.

TAURUS SUN/RISING: The shifting focus and awareness of needing to be in touch with your shifting philosophy of the way that you see the world will become tangible this week for you. This will show up for you in the way that you are in your friendships, overall health vibe and most importantly, how you desire freedom. However freedom is beginning to mean something different to you now. This week, you’ll have a stronger grasp on what that means to you.

GEMINI SUN/RISING: This week probably won’t be a lot of fun for you. You mercurial folks are going to get very, very deep and it’s territory that you endured before…wiping your brow with a shaky hand in deep relief. However this is a part of your life that will require a lot more of your energy, and this week you will find out just how much more work you’ll need to put into your intimacy issues, your desire to heal and the way that you love.

CANCER SUN/RISING: Your relationships and your whole family/home dynamic have been under intense scrutiny for you for years, however this week you will get some clarity on how to get some personal power back in the ways that you have let it leak out of you. There’s some old conditioning that you are shaking off, and it’s high time. If you are looking to pull of some career coup, this is the weeks to begin that take over.

LEO SUN/RISING: Your everyday life and times have been shifting for you and this week there will be a realization about how this is a part of your life that will continue to be a focus. Either you will figure that you are running at a punishing pace, or that you aren’t working hard enough…that your focus is scattered. If you feel like you are in a shouting match, it’s a good chance that you are the one that will need to cool things down, even if you don’t want to. Especially if you don’t want to.

VIRGO SUN/RISING: There have been conversations brewing for months around issues of children/romance/sex and creativity. Take your pick…but they are all there. There will be something that you will not be able to rationalize yourself about; rather you will find that you will have all of your conversations coming from a place of bourgeoning self worth. Things may get intense very quickly this week; however whatever happens will heal some partnerships in your life, or heal how you think about these partnerships.

LIBRA SUN/RISING: If there is something that you have learned over the years is that sometimes you just cannot play nice. As much as you might want to take the high road, you need to take care of you first. Hopefully you have been existing in a state of integrity…however even if you haven’t you will get in touch with that anger that has been simmering, and you’ll finally voice that grievance, and finally have that conversation about your family/history/family that need to be had.

SCORPIO SUN/RISING: This week you will find that every conversation that you have will consist of layers upon layers of subtext, and you’ll be penetrative, and brutally honest in all of your conversations. I know that you already think that is how you are…but how many conversations have you had of late are really just undercover bids for power? Think on that. Do you want honesty or do you want power? Once you figure that out for yourself, your path will get very clear.

SAGITTARIUS SUN/RISING: You will need to have some serious conversations on getting paid for the work that you do. It’s been talks about abundance and money for the past few months; at this point this week you’ll be brainstorming on how to make more money, or you will be demanding more money. Either way you’ll be motivated by some big talks from your friends and community. Perhaps they will be giving you ideas or inspirations. Probably both!

CAPRICORN SUN/RISING: It’s been you transforming for so very long, and it’s been exciting for you. This week will be no different for you at all; however you should expect for some unexpected piece of information to come to light that may change how you feel about some critical issue, and also how you feel about the transformation that you are currently undergoing.

AQUARIUS SUN/RISING: Who knew that 2017 would begin with such a bang for you? If the fireworks haven’t happened yet, wait for it for another few days. In your life you are feeling nearly possessed when it comes to how you communicate, as if something is speaking through you. Parts of your life are being lit up, and the deep conversations and things that are being said are coming through your psyche.

PISCES SUN/RISING: When you have some of the deep conversations that you will inevitably have in your group of friends and your community something will be revealed. It could possibly be something about you...but whatever it is that happens or is said it will bring some sense of closure to you or something enlightening that will change how you feel about some aspect about yourself. Hello to all of you! Hopefully you have recovered fully of your NYE revelry and all that goes with it!

I’m hoping that so far (I know it’s only a day into 2017) the year is showing promise and goodness to you all.

This week is going to start out slow and sleepy as a hangover from that Mercury RX and Mars/Neptune Conjunction thing that’s still going on. So we are still feeling dreamy. However, this evaporates quickly as we need to get our bearings; Jupiter and Saturn are making a super sweet connection, so things are going to move fast, and we are going to need to take a peak into what power dynamics are going on in our lives; The Sun/Pluto Conjunction in Capricorn wants to talk about power. It’s time to get serious about our next phase; if you are already in gear up mode, than you can ride this energy in a fabulous way. It’s evolutionary energy we are dealing with here!

CRIB SHEETS ON MANAGING THIS WEEK’S ENERGY:

ARIES SUN/RISING:  One thing that most Aries I have come across have in common is their healthy sense of self. If an Aries has to jockey for position, they tend to lose interest despite being a fairly competitive sign. In some ways, the past years this has hurt you when it comes to career and ambition moves.
