HOW TO SURVIVE THE FULL MOON- for Cardinal Signs

Dear Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn,

I know the past two years have been crazy; luckily this full moon in Libra will shed some light on how to go about handling the challenges that face us, and perhaps answer some questions.

Highlight on Aries: You’re energy is electrical right now. Remember to use your new found super powers for good and not evil. Feeling crazed? Jog in place or find something productive to do. This a great time to recognize that patience is a virtue that is great to have. Even if you just don’t wanna…

Highlight on Cancer: you poor thing; these past few years you have been the sacrificial lamb, and this full moon is nothing different. Your search for security and duty to family has you feeling hemmed in. Hold tight; come summer it will be your time to shine and you will get your grand rewards for all your sacrifices.

Highlight on Libra: Saturn doesn’t have you in a chokehold anymore. Tell the truth and shame the devil. Finally speak your truth. Don’t be afraid to shine. You might be finally feeling powerful and wild. Go with it; just don’t forget all the lessons you’ve learned on how to be in a relationship without giving up the prime parts of yourself.

Highlight on Capricorn: you are hoping for a break from all the pressures as well as your endless evolution. At this point you are a pro…just hold on a little bit longer. Your strides in your career will be shown; stay alert. Be careful of power struggles; you don’t need to engage in them. Just keep doing your best.

FIRE PROOF

Strike a match, go on and do it

Oh, days go by, I'm hypnotized
I'm walking on a wire
I close my eyes and fly out of my mind
Into the fire

Oh, light the sky and hold on tight
The world is burning down
She's out there on her own, and she's all right
                       “Sunny came home”- Shawn Colvin

Mars, Venus, Uranus and the Sun are all in fired up, energetic Aries. To compound this, Pluto is in Capricorn and in a tense angle to all things Aries.
Now we have a full moon in Libra; she’s close to the flame and is on fire.
This is the showdown we have been waiting for since the Cardinal squares began over 2 years ago. No one escaped unscathed from these configurations. Folks now want what they want NOW and aren’t willing to compromise.
The star of this show, however is not wild Aries, but Libra. Libra has had it, and while she was stuck in the fray of the cardinal cross last year, she couldn't do much, since Saturn was in Libra, and had her backed into a corner.

We can count this as Libra’s coming out party; and she’s the loud voice of reason in this wild time where feelings, desires and voices have risen to a near deafening crescendo.

She's watching people fuss and fight, but now she's in it, fists flying and throwing elbows. However, she's fighting for two reasons; 1) to be heard 2) for fairness, truth and justice.
With this full moon, Libra won't stop until she's talked sense to everyone, though there are fights and people shrugging and working for a way to find another way to live. Finally, she’s empowered and will bring it all down if people cannot find a way to fix their –ish.
By means of wind, water or fire. Libra gets balance, and sometimes the only way to achieve that is by destruction or revelations.

.
But watch out. Libra is empowered, and depending on what you direction you are going in… she will either show you some glaring truths. Some scary things about your life and who you are. Things that will tell you “no, it’s not the other guys fault. THIS is where you are to blame.” Or, if you are willing to evolve she’ll show you how to compromise in order to get the best results.

This is it folks.  People are squaring off… people are pissed off and tired. There’s going to be a lot of finger pointing and screaming. But most people are really mad at themselves, not at everyone else.
Don’t worry if you feel lost; Libra will carry the torch to show you the best path to the kind of truth that may save your life.

FLASH A LITTLE LEG...

“You get excitement in your bones, and everything’s a game”-Right as Rain- Adele

Yesterday we had fierce Mars and willful Uranus are both in Aries and locked in an arm wrestling match. Funny thing is that they both didn’t win, and won’t win until they realize how they can help each other. Then, of course the moon has been sashaying in showy Leo (which is a fire sign like Aries)
Oh. Brother.
While Mars and Uranus snort and spit at each other, not realizing yet how they can help each other achieve their common goals (independence and freedom) Leo will keep us all distracted by showing us the pretty; by dancing and wearing the fancy duds to go out all night, or just to go to the grocery store.
Go to a party. I promise you, if you go to a party when the moon is in Leo, it’s a magnificent time.
Although the moon is void course (not moving or doing anything that matters in relation to other planets, or us) its nice that for the rest of the weekend we are held in the cult of Leo.
You might get a tattoo, audition for a roll in a movie, sing at a piano bar, or profess your undying love (only to regret it minutes later)
Whatever it is, don’t take it seriously. Have fun. And bring cab fare, just in case.

DIRTY BUNNY PART 1

"The March Hare ... as this is May, it won't be raving mad - at least not so mad as it was in March."- Alice in Wonderland.

Spring. Easter.  We have in our heads green grassy fields with bunnies galloping through, chirping birds and pretty dresses.
Hold the phone. This vision is what is possible, but usually when the official start of spring happens the world is still a gray, colorless place. This is because this is the start of the Sun warming up the earth.

Its is during the end of March/ early April where the world’s religions begin to celebrate their spring time high holy days.
For the Celts/Pagan’s, Ostara is one of the high holy days, and falls on the same day as the Vernal/Spring Equinox. This happens March 20th, or 21st depending on the time the Sun enters Aries. This is the day where we anticipate the Sun to begin doing its work again. This is when the Astrological New Year begins.
The vernal equinox is considered a new year simply because in regards to the way the sun works, it is when it begins to bloom and spread, and free from the grasp of the dark days of winter with the necessary bleakness for us to contemplate what we want our lives to look like.

Ostara is the Celtic/pagan holiday where the Goddess Eostre become mature and fertile; where the Sun comes back to us and is reborn in it’s heat, sense of action, and of course, virility. This is the reason why the rabbit was considered sacred to the Goddess during this time. He’s valued because of the fertility of the creature and of his industrious nature. He’s also a creature that comes out of hibernation from the winter and gets busy in spring. Busy in so many different ways…

Randy the Rabbit has work to do and he does it with energy and enthusiasm. WE may not want to necessarily be ‘fertile’, but be fertile with energy.

This is the energy we need to embody and touch upon once the Sun moves into Aries.

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, and are considered the initiators and heroes of the zodiac. Aries are also considered the children of the Zodiac. Could be that most Aries don’t know any better. Or it could be that separate God that exists for foolhardy children and for them alone.

This year, when the Spring Equinox occurs and the Sun moves into Aries, we need to remember that Mars, Uranus, Venus and the Sun are all going to be in Aries. We all will have more energy than we know what to do with. However, this is a welcome change from the wet mists we have been in. This heat will burn off the remaining fog.
We have had the first part of the year to dream, plan and wish. We had the dark winter to rest, to stay quiet and fallow. But now is the time to get down to work.
Ride this wild wave of energy and fire. Be happy at how your awakening matches the world. Now it is time to claim your intention, and begin the work it takes to bring it into existence.
BUT FOR GOODNESS SAKE HAVE FUN WHILE YOU DO IT!

FIRE BURN AND CAULDRON BUBBLE

“Can‘t start a fire without your little world falling apart”- "Dancing in the Dark"
Bruce Springsteen

It starts with an itch.  It’s a slight nagging itch that comes when a burn starts to heal.

Perhaps it’s the hot and cold shivers that run through your body, making you feel as if you drank more coffee than you should have.
It could be the feeling that we sometimes have after a boozy brunch where we KNOW we have a great deal to do and that we have no business lazing the day away over mimosas and poached eggs. Where we may feel edgy and slightly guilty.
Perhaps we now feel a need to join a football league or run a marathon.
It could be something unspoken and unidentified that is clawing its way out of your body with ragged talons and escapes in the form of rough words and rough actions.

Welcome to the beginning of the Aries take over.

We are slipping away from watery Pisces and sliding head first into Fire ridden Aries even while we cry “wait, I wasn’t done yet”
It’s ok if you are unsure of what the message you were supposed to receive while Pisces was king; if you aren’t consciously aware of the lesson, chances are you are currently living it even if you aren’t aware of it. This is how Pisces works. He’s a bit of shyster. However, it really is in your best interest. He has to trick you into the knowledge that you need, and that you seek on the sly. Even as we are beginning to burn with excitement, Pisces is asking you if this is really what you want to do.  Don’t worry. Its just Pisces busting your chops.

Right now Mars and Uranus have met up in Aries. It’s like Rocky Balboa and Prometheus are in cahoots. They are plotting how to take over, train for greatness and enlighten by way of the divine. They are the kindling energy that you feel starting in your gut, spreading and burning away the confusion and lethargy that has been seeping into your body and life for the past few months.
Please understand this; Aries is a sign of action. You are not required to ignore your feelings, thoughts and intuitions; just to stop rolling around in them and move them into action. Even as we are beginning to burn with excitement, Pisces is asking you if this is really what you want to do.  Don’t worry. Its just Pisces busting your chops. Combined with the ending of the reign of Pisces and cynical Saturn in gimlet eyed Scorpio, any doubts you have is to be expected. It’s just the Universe asking about your level of commitment.

You feel like you can take over the world? Especially today?
We are currently in the moon phase of waxing Taurus, and will be over the weekend.  Taurus is exalted when the moon has wrapped itself in Taurus garb. Most often, when we make decisions under the fixed/exalted Taurus moon they are irreversible.  This moon is matched up in a pretty angle with do or die Pluto in steady Capricorn.
Message? Don’t expect your world to look the same on Monday as it does this afternoon.
Some are ready to rock, to burn Rome down to ashes and dance to the music of a fiddle. Some are beginning to wake up, and wonder in what way they can shape their lives. Some are beginning to tap into their own power, be it creative or divine.
This is only the beginning.
Don’t worry, because fire purifies and burns the old and evil away just as water baptizes and anoints us.

Let the Fire Games begin.
