So here we are with a bright
and shiny Full Moon in Leo. It’s a slightly tarnished Full Moon, not feeling
quite in place with all the earthy energy. Yes, The Sun just moved into
Aquarius, so the cosmos are lightening up a tad bit. However the strum und drag
of January 2016 is very much in action. Things are being dismantled, at least
anything with faulty foundations. This Full Moon in Leo is a tad darker than
others; it comes on the heels of some harder Pluto/Mercury/Capricorn energy.
It’s been a lot of dealing with the shadow, of issues surrounding power,
ambition and intention. Or you could have been doing a lot of healing work.
With this Full Moon in Leo,
we want to be noticed, for our accomplishments to be acknowledged. We will NOT
be ignored. It’s easy to act out here, or throw a tantrum…Leo can act badly
like that sometimes. However, at the core here is indeed the desire to matter.
If you are in a situation where you aren’t being appreciated, or are forced to
hide your light under a bushel, you may decide to spend your time and energy
elsewhere. SELF-EMPOWERMENT is a very large component of this Full Moon. No
grandstanding…we are all better than that.
This bright and fiery moon
will help light the way. Consider this moon the kick off…especially since we
are getting some hot help from the Saturn/Uranus trine in fire signs
Sagittarius and Aries (respectively).
While meditating on this Full
Moon, I drew the Ace of Wands. A New Beginning! Wands are the fire suit of
Tarot, and the Ace is the first card of this suit. It’s a creative, bold and
brave new start. Chances are we are standing in the middle of ashes of
something that is now gone…so we need a positive new beginning, which this Full
Moon will help usher in. After all, every new beginning is some other beginning’s
end…
