True to form, this New Moon
is all about freedom, the big breakaway. Aquarius is ruled by Uranus, a planet
that needs freedom, to be able to breath and to able to be as weird as they
wanna be.
So given the whole breaking
down of old structures, the killing of those monsters in the closet and the
lancing of old wounds it’s no wonder that we want a clean break, a new start
that doesn’t smack of old conditioning, or of a past that we no longer want to
drag around with us.
Uranus and Mars feature
strongly in this New Moon, so our great escape might be bloody and rough, but
in some ways may be shockingly easy. Our chains may dissolve, or get ripped off
the walls in a superhuman feat of strength.
Mars in Scorpio making a
square to this New Moon will be a jolt, a hard core rattling that could wake
you up. We may want to go through our lives detached, doing a good job of
evolving past certain things and behaviors.
However, this planetary
situation will bring us back down to the nitty gritty of every day life
sharply.
This New Moon makes a trine
to Uranus, while Mars makes a trine to Chiron; whatever happens will be
incredibly healing, and ultimately shocking in some way or another. We will get
help from the universe if we make big, bad bold moves of any kind.
Basically, the Mars squaring
the New Moon is the universe shouting C’MON. I believe that squares are
necessary in us growing and moving; squares move the story along.
We all have goals, and
dreams. We are waking up, and reaching into a new way of seeing the world and
ourselves. Perhaps we want to shake it off, and be like “oh, it’s cool. I’m
alright”
No, maybe you aren’t. Maybe you
need a little help setting yourself free.
