THE BIG SLEEP

“Send me a sign!!” this is often the battle cry I hear from the people of the world.  Chances are that we are all being given signs. Signs after signs after signs. This is because the universe is never subtle. I mean, sure the Universe has a sense of humor that most of us don’t get. Yes, the Universe also works in mysterious ways that annoy and delight us earthbound creatures. However, The universe gladly keeps banging us in the head until we finally get the message, or at least submit to it. What usually keeps us from getting the message or sign on what we should do, or live our lives are that it isn’t what we want to hear. Most of us want to do what we want to do, and want approval. A thumbs up, if you will.

Since we are all rather thick headed, the Universe has upped the ante and now there are FIVE planets in Pisces; Mercury, Venus, Mars, Chiron and Neptune are all in Pisces, not to mention the Sun as well.

Pisces gets a bad rep as wishy washy, alcoholic, druggy and lost in the groove of things. Pisces gets treated like a dotty dear thing. Some of this is true; Pisces tend to be self indulgent, lethargic and have serious problems with boundaries; it’s a way to hide from the intensity of being a Pisces. However, Pisces is the sign that deals with our subconscious. Pisces is that place where we float in embryotic fluid, absorbing wisdom and love from an infinite source. Pisces is on the brink of being born, and in that perfect state of in-between dreams and in being. Pisces is the desire for us all to love, to share and to grow. Pisces are wise; Pisces will give someone just enough rope, and then tell them they can find a way out that doesn’t require death or a savor.

The universe seems to think that we need a hefty dose of Pisces to pull us out of the “me, me, me” frame of mind that most of us have. Pisces rules the 12^th house, which is all about Karma, and the collective consciousness. This is the house where we either let our demons destroy us and munch on our bones, or realize that our greatest strengths lie in where we feel we are unworthy.

Hopefully we have all realized that this is a time for us to submit to the fates. The Universe wants us to stop posing and strutting; the universe wants us to face up to where we are lost and where we have failed each other. The universe wants us to get back on track; us living in a Pisces world is the way this is going to happen.

So far in 2013, we have been under the influence of Pisces, and have possibly gotten into the groove of not being in control of anything. Of questioning and being more vulnerable than before. 

The Universe will be giving us a graduation party of sorts on March 11, when we get the New Moon in Pisces. All of us will have A-HA!! moments during the New Moon period; we finally see what the Universe wanted us to know but we were too stubborn to figure out before. 

This is the New Moon where we grow up and grow into the human beings we were meant to be, and start to learn how to participate in the human race.
