NEW MOON IN VIRGO HOROSCOPES

We are surrounded by interesting news these days, astrologically and earthbound. This New Moon in Virgo will be in effect for the next 10 days, so we have a nice chunk of time to make the best of the gifts this New Moon will hand out to us. It may not seem quite like it, but this New Moon is going to give us help in moving forward. This New Moon makes a sweet sextile to Jupiter in Cancer, so we get a huge boost that feels almost fated. This is not a New Moon to be ignored. Pay attention to your horoscope. You’ll be glad you did.

ARIES RISING/SUN: I’m going to tell you the very thing that you don’t want to hear. It’s time to get back to work. I know, there’s still so much fire and stimulation in the air. It might feel like the summer will never end. However, you know there is a lot in your life that needs cleaning up. You have known this for a while, but now is the time to get to it. This is the prime time to do it, and to learn the careful skill of maintenance.
ADVICE: learn from the Four blonds of the apocalypse: Martha Stewart, Suze Ormand, Jillian Michaels and Pink; be passionate about making your life work for you.

TAURUS RISING/SUN: Even though you do everything that needs to be done for the one you love; Even though you plug away at perfecting a craft that brings you joy and purpose, it feels like a moot point. This New Moon has highlighted where you have been let down; the upside is hopefully you can see where you could have done better, and have given up on being abusive to yourself for not fulfilling a dream. Be kind to yourself. In this case it’s not about the elbow grease; please remember that God and the Devil lie in the details. Nothing is black and white.
ADVICE: what makes you happy? take the next 10 days to figure that out.

GEMINI RISING/SUN: This New Moon is giving you just what you need to get settled. The odd thing is that you actually want to get down to it, to create roots and a nice home you can have your friends over … and maybe even find a peace that has been eluding you. You aren’t looking around and seeing what’s wrong or what needs to be done, but rather seeing what your home/ family can be. This is a time where the trappings of home and roots do not feel like…hmmm… a trap? Perhaps Home and Family are just ideas of love and nothing more, nothing less.
ADVICE: watch “it’s a wonderful life”. I know it’s a few months early for a Christmas movie, but it might help you see just how wonderful your life is.

Cancer RISING/SUN: Chances are that the people in your life no longer feel like they know you. Chances are that you may feel like you don’t know yourself. That is A-OK. You have flipped the world, as you know it on its head. You may have spent the summer getting your bearings, and while doing that may have found a peace that can only be found from freedom. You are now in a life living crash course that may make you desire more education, travel, talking and writing. It’s a good time to begin to engage with the world as it is; it’s time to emerge from the deep quiet space that you had to live in just to make it day to day. It’s time to come back and show us what you learned during your time in the dark.
ADVICE: Listen to “My Way” by Frank Sinatra and “I’m About to Come Alive” by Train.  Listen until you get it.

LEO RISING/SUN: My goodness, aren’t you full of vim and vigor these days! I like it. Chances are that people still look to you for the light and for the fun these days. That’s a gift, to be a sparkling person even though you may have had some doubts about the effectiveness of this. This New Moon will help show you the benefit of being the endless source of energy that you are. You might be entertaining some bizarre sense of apprehension at your realization that you are THE eternal flame. This New Moon will smack that down, and show you just how vital you are to the world around you.
ADVICE: Read the poem “First Fig” by Edna St. Vincent. It resonates with you…bask in that.

VIRGO RISING/SUN: My dear, here we are, a big grand New Moon for you to do what you will with it. This New Moon making it’s angle to Jupiter in Cancer illuminates what has kept you in the dark longer than you would like to admit. What glows is different for each Virgo Sun/Rising; however it comes about for each of you will be as different from each other as one snowflake is to another.
The beauty of this New Moon is that you will feel as if you are moving through your life seamlessly, with purpose and clarity. Details that usually bog you down will melt away. Perhaps you may still feel stuck on some things you feel you need to get done…some unfinished business perhaps. It’ll get clean in its own time
ADVICE: This month you are golden

LIBRA RISING/SUN: Here you are in the focus room, still and quiet. It’s almost time for a big move. This time you aren’t afraid, but gearing up and getting ready. You are making lists and plans, and for once, not living on the fence about life decisions. This New Moon brings clarity, and the knowledge that you finally have the space and time to begin the big plans to move forward. You keep all this quiet. This is good. You know this is the time to get it all clear, and to clear away the chatter and guilt from your self. You are prepping for the next move in your life. Doesn’t it feel good to finally realize who you are, and that you have been a mere shadow of who you could be?
ADVICE: Smile and keep your to do list to yourself. You will reveal all when you are good and ready.

SCORPIO RISING/SUN: The most important lesson this New Moon will show you is that in order to have the kind of friends and community that you want, you have to be the kind of friend you would like to have. Maybe you feel like people have let you down, and that you have let others down, and there is no coming back from it. It could be as mild as feeling out of sorts in regards to the people around you. It’s fine to feel that way, and to realize where you haven’t been as magnificent as you would like to be. The only person judging you here is yourself.
ADVICE: for goodness sakes go to that reunion/football game/girls night out. Or organize one yourself. You can control the tone of your community; just do it for good.

SAGITTARIUS RISING/SUN: It’s totally fine to revamp your idea of ambition. You are in the sweet spot where people will be paying attention to your ideas and what you have to say. You will probably even have flashes of awareness that it is time to use your adventures and insights to further your path in your career. You are thinking of expansion, and ready for all the trappings that go along with it. Furthering your career and public image seems like a grand adventure these days, rather than a chore.
ADVICE: Watch “Secret of My Success” it’ll tickle you and give you ideas.

CAPRICORN RISING/SUN: It’s an interesting place you find yourself these days. Most folks wouldn’t call you whimsical or one that would follow flights of fancy. However, these days you are wondering what is on the other side of the life you live, and the philosophies you hold. Your life is changing swiftly, as well as who you think you are. It may be hard to get your sea legs, but you are learning how after 5 years of turmoil. You are ready to face unknown territory…to travel and learn about life outside of what you THINK you know.
ADVICE: buy a one-way plane ticket.

AQUARIUS RISING/SUN: While you often find yourself in your life being worried about the collective while you remain independent, you are beginning to realize that it’s not quite how it works. This New Moon has a touch of awareness that will even make the most jaded native of this sign stand up and take notice. It’s time to stop skimming, and have conversations that you may not want to have. It could run along the themes of sex, money and shared resources. While you may not want to get to deep into these intense themes, this is the time where it needs to happen, and to be aware of your resources and where they are going.
ADVICE: Balance your checkbook and get yourself a copy of “Henry and June” by Anais Nin. Read of the different forms of intimacy exists.

PISCES RISING/SUN: This is New Moon full of common sense of creating your allies and helpers. Use this brilliant New Moon energy to build partnerships that nourish you as well as help you have some awareness of how vital it is to make sure that you have good people to have your back, as well as making sure you are honoring your relationships to others. This New Moon will also build your appreciation of those you have in your life in a real way. Honor these relationships, and seek out more partnerships that make your life bigger and grander, and make sure that you provide the same for those in your life.
ADVICE: Write someone a thank you note.

SHOWING LOVE FOR ALL SIGNS/RISINGS FOR THIS FULL MOON FORECAST

I’d like a quick chat about what a Full Moon means to each individual. It’s not as big and wonderful as it can be made out to be. It’s merely a culmination of a certain theme or issue in your life. It can be as big as a death or break up, or just a light bulb that goes off in someone’s head. Sometimes it can herald an end to a stressful period in your life or the start after an ending. It’s just that varied and just that simple. If there are other planetary influences involved (natal aspects, transits and conjunction, etc.) then of course the impact of the full moon is bigger.
However, I digress.  While what follows is a forecast of sorts, it’s more like encouragement of what to do with this full moon energy. Since it’s Aquarius, it’s bound to be electric….

Aries Sun/Rising: The lone wolf thing has out grown its usefulness; it’s time to embrace teamwork and all the rewards it brings.  Going with a crowd won’t take away your freedom. After all, no man is an Island; we all need each other in one-way or another.
ADVICE: Organize a Flash Mob at a homeless shelter and get folks to bring donations. Nothing will bring you joy like helping others.

Taurus Sun/Rising: For whatever reason the tried and true methods of getting ahead and actually getting people to really notice all you bring to the table are no longer working.  No worries, you yourself have outgrown the old ways of doing things.
ADVICE: Become a master at a task that has always made you a little crazy. While chewing on that, take notes in crayons. It’ll wake you up.

Gemini Sun/Rising: Maybe you feel like you have outgrown a certain part of your life, and are ready for the next adventure. Maybe you feel a little guilty about it. No need to throw out the baby with the bathwater. It’s probably a good time to open your horizons. Take a wacky class or go on a wild road trip and tell your friends and family about it. Bring them along on your newest adventure.
P.S. They have been waiting for you to do this very thing for a long, long time.

Cancer Sun/Rising: It’s time. You know what I mean. You need to let it go. What is it? That’s individual to each and every Cancer Sun/Rising.  If you think about it, shedding yourself of the skin you are in won’t take the hercularian effort you had thought it would take. After all, you are almost there…almost completely free. Practically perfect in every way.
ADVICE: write a love letter to you now from whom you were 5 years ago.  You’ll thank yourself.

Leo Sun/Rising:  LOVE. The joy, the ecstasy. It’s rough when the people closest to you just wont do what you would like them to do. Chances are the way you get love and support don’t look the way you think they should. As much as you want to cut out of this whole THING called relationships, you are going to need to stick around and find the best in it all.
ADVICE:  Create a mental road map of what you think intimacy looks like.  Make it into an arts and craft project. It’ll be fun, and might fix your relationship with your relationships.

Virgo Sun/Rising: Efficiency can be confused with mania. Relax a little.  It’s easy to get caught up with the daily details and how important it is to follow everything bit by bit. However, there leaves little room for self-expression…. and the last thing you want to do is treat your self like a drudge. No one likes that.
ADVICE: go to your next work meeting with a hand puppet to do the talking for you.

Libra Sun/Rising: You may still be living in happy homemaker fantasy to learn that it’s not goanna happen the way you might wish.  You should know by now that relationships are never going to be the way you thought they would be. Chances are since all the crazy issues that have been going on since 2006 have skewed the area around the joy that lives in sexuality ran rampant. It’s time to remember the fun in creativity and letting lose. Most importantly, sex is not bad.
ADVICE: Watch the video “Blurred Lines” with Robin Thicke, Pharell and T.I.  Dance to it naked with a martini in hand. It’s time.

Scorpio Sun/Rising:  You probably wish that you could put yourself in a frilly diaper, fling yourself into a basket parked on the door steps of a mansion, and find yourself to be a foundling, taken in by loving wealthy parents, rather than the family that makes you nuts and seems to want to suck you dry. You can’t escape; Saturn in your sign won’t allow that.
ADVICE: Take your grandma/grandpa out for happy hour. Talk to her/him like they are your buddies.
PS: it’s ok to just say no

Sagittarius Sun/Rising: This was a full moon that didn’t really make many waves. Maybe you had a good chat with a cousin or sibling…an illuminating one at that. Perhaps you had the pleasure of hoping in a car and getting moving. The options are endless…and that is how this full moon made you feels. Chances are you had a break through in communicating your thoughts and insights.
ADVICE: just keep being awesome.

Capricorn Sun/Rising: You may have had to play the heavy more often then you would like. It doesn’t seem quite fair, does it? For a long time you may have felt like if anything was going to get done it would be because you did it. Since you have found a new way of being seen in the world, you find yourself being outside the box. It might free you in ways you never thought… and it might make you feel better about yourself…and somehow make you more money.
ADVICE: have a good-natured barter fest with your boss.

Aquarius Sun/Rising: The star of the day. Hey! You! Are you the one who has been shaking things up? Making the rest of us see things from a different view? This the time of year (well, also last month at the first Full Moon in Aquarius) where who you are really gets illuminated for yourself and for others. Not bad, huh? There might be feeling of worry, that you aren’t moving fast enough or people are trying to control you. I wouldn’t worry about that: folks are too busy trying to control themselves. Take your time and decide what you want to do. No one is rushing you, accept maybe yourself.
ADVICE: Go to your local bookstore and look at a coffee table book of Andy Warhol. Just absorb his work and life…let it either be inspiration or a cautionary tale. Your choice.

Pisces Sun/Rising: Well aren’t you right where you belong? Swimming around in the beauty of the quiet of your own soul… or you could be the rabbit leading others down the rabbit whole to a wonderland of sorts.  Tea party or a chat with the smoky Cheshire Cat? Why worry? Everyone else around you is doing such a bang up job of it….
However you wake up with sweats and nerves, and not knowing why. Why the anxiety? What is that boogieman in the corner?  We all have them, even you my wise Pisces.
Integrate them into your play…it’s all in your head anyway.
ADVICE: Watch “Monster’s Inc.” observe the relationship that happens between Boo and Sully.

Starstruck Autumn: THE BEAUTY OF IT ALL

Starstruck Autumn: THE BEAUTY OF IT ALL: "I see my light come shinin' From the west down to the east Any day now, any day now                              ...

THE BEAUTY OF IT ALL

"I see my light come shinin'
From the west down to the east
Any day now, any day now
                               I shall be released"
Bob Dylan " I shall be released"

The Beauty of it All

So you guys made it. You managed to survive the month of August… and the months before.
In everything that went on, chances are you aren’t hard and embittered or rubbed to a numb nub. Instead, you guys are awake.
FINALLY.
It’s not a rough awakening, but a gradual one, like what happens on a sunny Saturday morning, where the light creeps through the curtains…
We have a second full moon in a row in Aquarius to thank for that.  The first Full Moon in Aquarius happened on July 22 2013. Think back to that Full Moon; what was lit up for you? Did you follow through on it, or try to ignore what occurred for you? No matter: it’s all gonna get fixed up and shiny for y’all in this Full Moon.
To make sure you guys follow, we’ll have a quick chat about what a Full Moon in Aquarius means.
Aquarius is the water bearer; Aquarius is more along the lines of controlling thought through focus and attentive behavior. Divine enlightenment is common for Aquarius natives and activity.
Some of what has come up for people of late is a feeling of freedom, an illumination of shorts. A light bulb or a different way of dealing with our hard spots has blown up for most of us.
It makes sense since Aquarius’s modern ruler is Uranus, the great awakener.  Uranus will illuminate all and everything, then will shake it up, just to grant you knowledge and the freedom that comes with it. When a Full Moon happens in Aquarius, your life gets lit up, and a shake up happens to grant freedom and a lesson in loving others as much as we love ourselves. If that’s a good or bad thing…well, it depends on the individual.

I can’t help but move into the arena of Tarot, since the Aquarius associated card THE STAR is present here and is full of good news.
While for many tarot readings, Aquarius has different card meanings (ace of swords, queen of swords) however very often it is associated with the Star. In a nutshell, the Star is that perfect place of peace and transparency. That magic place of completion (I’m ok, your ok)

The Star is also associated with baptism. Chances are that many of us have experienced a purge of some kind, and that purification has happened through a trial by fire or even a thunderdome type battle.  This Star/Aquarius energy of this Full Moon cleans us up, and bestows upon us a new wisdom. It’s all rather pretty…like when the clouds part and you can see the beauty of a starlit night. Expect an unexpected reward. While this Full Moon may not grant you the complete peace that you crave, it will at the very least provide you with the tools to get there.

Shine Bright Like a Diamond.

Starstruck Autumn: REBEL REBEL- NEW MOON IN LEO IN ALL IT'S GLORY

REBEL REBEL- NEW MOON IN LEO IN ALL IT'S GLORY

Is it so bad to want to get wild? Is it so bad to want to shake loose of all the rules and constraints we live under? I’m sure that most of us are feeling the world tightening around us. If we use the power of this New Moon in Leo wisely, it just might save our sorry butts.
This month isn’t going to be much different from much of what we have seen this year; we won’t see much relief from the weight of the world. We have a Jupiter/Pluto/Uranus T Square that is happening this month that lets us know, under no uncertain terms that the planetary truce of July is now OVER. It’s back to the battlefield.
However, this New Moon in Leo will show us how to do your thing while the world continues to take on the tone of the Wild West…on one side we have folks who want to save your soul and on the other side folks who want to show just how big and bad they are. Since the Sun in Leo is conjunct to this New Moon, the Leo power is doubled and more powerful then before. Now is the time to strut your stuff and pull everyone onto the dance floor.
The beauty of all New Moons is that it opens up a whole new start. Much like candles on a birthday cake, it’s the prime time to make wishes that are certain to come true.  The first 10 days after a New Moon is the best time to start a new project…or a new phase on one you have been working on.
This New Moon makes a saucy trine to Uranus in Aries… it’s like the two bawdiest girls in school giggling over their next adventure.  These two are fearless, sexy and uncontrollable. Whatever they get up to, it’s going to be a whole lot of fun and maybe just a little bit of trouble.  This unique fire trine adds something special to this New Moon; a little more gusto and a lot more passion. Since Saturn in Scorpio is in a waning square with the Moon in Leo, his energy isn’t as rough as it could be; in this case, he merely reminds this New Moon in Leo to finally live up to her true potential…. to shine bright and be real about it. This New Moon is a rare chance to be completely focused on the self.
Perhaps this New Moon is the best time to figure out how to have fun, and live in the spotlight. Leo is a fixed sign, so whatever she fixates on she has follow through on. Channel her energy to make fun, powerful changes for the good. Leo is also the sign that rules the Heart; make sure whatever you do or start this New Moon is akin to your greatest heart’s desire.
Take this time to dance and embrace what brings you joy. Most importantly…
TWIRL, TWIRL, TWIRL….
