A LITTLE BIT OF MOON MAGICKS



So it’s the dark moon before the official New Moon in Capricorn on 12/28, 11:53 PM.
The moon is so very dark; you can feel the pull of it. Energetically it can make us super tired, or amped up and wild eyed. For many of us (especially us wild moon women) we are profoundly affected by this time of the moon cycle, perhaps even more so than what occurs during a Full Moon.
What to do? What if you cannot take that time to nap, or take that luxurious lavender/Epsom Salt bath that you really want to take? Sometime it’s not possible.
I suggest a little yoga, perhaps some Moon Salutations?
Yoga not your speed? Listen to a little bit of softer music on your way to work/store/school.
Feeling vulnerable? Some of that magic white light that is easily at our disposal is easy to wrap ourselves in. That white magic light is easily created by us, and calls to all the spirits of light and love to come to our aid.
Most importantly is that you have GOTTA burn some sage. Get that sage good and smoky, and sage your home. While you are at it, sage your cat (oh he/she is gonna LOVE that!) After that, sage yourself. Get rid of any old energies that shouldn’t cling to you as you make your way to the next month, the next phase of your life.

Always remember to honor how your body and soul are affected during this time of month, and leave yourself open for the magic of the moon to land on you.
