I’ve been listening to a lot if CCR (Creedence Clearwater
Revival) lately. I’m a Libra rising, so I am very much about music, and am the
kind of person that regard’s their life by the soundtracks of what was going
on. I feel inside of music there are messages from the beyond to us earthbound
folks.
When thinking of this Lunar Eclipse in Pisces, I kept
hearing the song Lodi in my head. It’s a CCR song, and one about a down and out
singer on the road. Basically, the song talks about how he is stuck, once again,
in a shitty little town in shitty circumstances…and feeling stupid about it.
Does any of this sound familiar?
Do you feel stuck in some same old shitty loop of pain and
disappointment? Are you starting to become aware that maybe, just maybe there
are things that we are doing in our lives that keep us in the loop?
What could these things be? Some old Karmic agreement that
you weren’t even aware that you had signed up for? A belief that we aren’t good
enough to move on? A fear of who you really are if you let yourself become who
you really are? Circumstances? Habits?
I think Lodi is a place that we all fear, yet somehow
orchestrate it so we end up there, over and over and over again.
Is this realization because of this being the very last
Eclipse in the Pisces/Virgo land? Is this because this is a Lunar Eclipse in
Pisces? Perhaps
I for one and tired of being in Lodi. I think you are too.
Maybe it’s a good tune, but a terrible fate.
So I propose another CCR song to be your inspiration.
Actually, make that 2 songs.
The first one?
Long As I Can See The
Light: The need to leave…the guilt of it but the ability to navigate that by
honoring the need to move onto other things…and the knowledge that there is
ALWAYS a light to guide the way.
The second one?
Up Around The Bend.
I leave you with this:
“There's a place
up ahead and I'm goin'
Just as fast as my feet can fly
Come away, come away if you're goin'
Leave the sinkin' ship behind”
Just as fast as my feet can fly
Come away, come away if you're goin'
Leave the sinkin' ship behind”
Let’s let the
past stay in the past. Let’s deal with why we are drawn to the darkness, to the
habitual pain. But once we are done, we need to get a move on.
