The wake up call has arrived
in the shape of this Full Moon in Virgo. This isn’t a dire Full Moon or even a
terribly dramatic one. Rather, it’s an intensely useful Full Moon. We have had
enough of the past few months of going over what we needed to learn, what
mistakes to glean lessons from and have been exposed to new directions to head
towards. Sure it’s been intense, but the business of living often is.
Virgo, to me is a sign that
really is about the business of living. It’s about the business of maintenance,
of cleaning the house, of getting check-ups, balancing your checkbook and
sending thank you cards. It’s often dutiful and detail oriented, but the human
race NEEDS that.
The Full Moon is the perfect
reminder, that the unglamorous things are the very things we need to do to
function. This Full Moon we need to tighten up our lives, cut any dead ends.
Throw out the old pictures and notes from former lovers and friends whose presence
makes you feel bad. Be ruthless in your self-care. Restore order to the
messiest parts of your life, the parts that have ceased to function due to
neglect or despair.
This Full Moon is making a
sextile to Saturn in Scorpio, which is currently retrograde. This is helping
you to delve into the recent past for you’re clean up, rather than diverting your
attention to what you need to achieve, conquer or move towards.
Winter is coming to a close,
and the spring equinox is coming on March 20th, followed by a New
Moon in Aries. These two events conspire to give us all a fresh start. Don’t
trip up your gleaming, hopeful future with the mess of your life.
Clean up can be fun if you
have the right tools, and the right motivation.
