WEEKLY HOROSCOPES-MARCH 28TH-APRIL 3RD

This week starts out with a de-gorgeous fire trine; Sun in Aries is making a fantastic trine to Saturn in Sagittarius. This is pure inspiration, giving a powerful combo of verve and smart planning. The springtime of Eclipse is now over; it’s safe to come out now and get things moving again. We are all changed in some way or another; now lets forge ahead, even if we need to leave pieces of ourselves along the way.

Mercury is a rabble-rouser this week; he’s now in Aries, so conversations have a lot of energy, excitement and a decided lack of tact. Mercury is making a trine to Sagittarius, a Square to Pluto (yikes!) and a conjunction to Uranus. The hot question here is this: What is Mercury trying to SAY? It’s different for all of us, depending on where he is in our individual charts. Pay attention to what comes out of your mouth; you’ll be shooting from the hip, and saying what you really mean.

ARIES SUN/RISING: It’s all fire, all the time. The Sun just made a trine to your ruler, Mars: you are still feeling the heat, like warm skin after a day at the beach. Invigorated and ready to rock, and not feeling tethered by old issues or the need to just feel. The bulk of the month of March required some quiet time, in order to slough off old stuff. Now you are ready to have some serious dialogue about yourself, your needs, your career and your growing view point. It’s going to be liberating, letting yourself be far more expressive than you’ve been in a while.

TAURUS SUN/RISING: You are used to the rebirth you are having in regards to hot sex and romance, the kind that feels fun; it could be a wake up call in regards to creativity, children or the masterpieces you are creating. There’s been an ongoing conversation about love/sex/creativity and how your philosophies are shifting. However this week old patterns, old beliefs and dare I say it… OLD FEARS are going to poking their nasty heads into nearly all of your conversations and interactions. Don’t be sideswiped by the odd things coming out of your mouth. Feel the meanings behind the words.

GEMINI SUN/RISING: It takes a village, you know. It takes community to get things done. This is a fact that you embrace and resent all at the same time. We know that you dig your friends, this is true. However you also really need a lot of time to escape in your head, and to just be. This week will be an ongoing conversation with your tribe about the nature of your friendships, your shifting change and growth, and the new terrain regarding relationships. You are being forced to be more intimate with the people in your life. Ugh I know how you hate that! However, it’s part of your evolution. Just trust.

CANCER SUN/RISING: You are in a prime position for moving and shaking, and not a damn moment too soon. Is Taylor Swift’s “Shake it off” your new theme song? It could be, now that you’ve shed crap you’ve hauled around for too long. You aren’t afraid of success, and you are having the conversations to move you ahead. You are having hard conversations about alliances and getting your piece of the pie; you are figuring out how to make yourself into a well oiled machine, fit to create acts of mercy and miracles all in a single bound. Tip top shape you are getting into; you are becoming a force to be reckoned with. Bravo.

LEO SUN/RISING: In some ways you may feel as if your love light has dimmed, while you’ve been forced to sit and hash out some murky stuff about the love/sex/money connection. It’s going to be an ongoing conversation, so don’t feel like you should have all the answers now. The conversation is starting to shift about your philosophies, your deep desire for far away travel, and how you can make this work for you. You might begin to realize that in order to reclaimed your lust for life; you will need to make a great escape of one kind or another. If you can’t afford a trip to Nepal, than take a yoga class or a retreat.  A breather will do you some good.

VIRGO SUN/RISING: You are a shining star, and according to the stars, everything is coming up roses for you, my dear Virgo. Perhaps there has been a conflict between your personal ambitions and your family life/home. However it’s because your base hasn’t quite caught up with your rapid expansions of self and ambitions. No worries; you’ll be having deep, truth steeped conversations on the how to make things work out in an optimal fashion. You may need to deal with some stuff about shared resources regarding a child, a creative venture or even a mad love affair. You are raring to go, and ready to shame the devil and tell the truth.

LIBRA SUN/RISING: Partnerships; this has been endlessly shifting terrain for a number of years, so you are used to this.  However your ace up your sleeve is the lingering vibe from the recent Libra Lunar Eclipse. I believe that you have a better grasp on your purpose, and a greater amount of self-respect and self-preservation. Think Celie at the end of “The Color Purple”; you may be imperfect, but you are still fabulous, and you are here. The eclipse season has been a real shaker-upper, with a culmination or a fantastic realization regarding your crew and community, along with some unsettling conversations about your home/family situation. It’s got you on a firmer foot, in some ways. Now your conversation is about joy/creativity and how to make a profit from it. It’s not either/or; just find the compromise in the situation.

CAPRICORN SUN/RISING: Your home/family situation has been in flux for a while; could be a real estate thing, or family members swiftly changing and maybe leaving. You are used to this occurring. However this week there may need to be some conversations about the state of affairs in your home or regarding family. It’s your desire to break free of some old patterns, or a desire to evolve that will drive this conversation. The timing is correct for this to happen; you’ll get the most out of it now.

AQUARIUS SUN/RISING: While life is not necessarily always La Vie En Rose, you find a way to make things work for you, one way or another. It’s your ability to see the long game. This week that comes into play big time. You may be trying to maneuver around your community, finding it changing and perhaps requiring more out of you than it had before. Mercury will help you have the conversations, and realizations that are necessary for you here. Your desire for growth may come in conflict with your automatic responses; just breathe into them.

PISCES SUN/RISING: You are still blinking away the stardust of March, and of the relentless changes wrought by your new sense of identity and phoenix like moves. This week is now time to have the conversations about the money that you earn, and how you may present yourself in a work environment. You are in a place where it feels like everything you do is public knowledge, and perhaps you are the subject of criticism; you may also find that your focus regarding work and ambition is becoming laser sharp. Keep your own counsel, and rock on.

We have a potent Full Moon in Virgo today. This is a rather straightforward Full Moon that needs us to look at our lives, and see what needs to change and shift in order to move forward. We may not necessarily like what we are being told, however there is a sense of relief here; This Full Moon gives us the answers we have been seeking, as well as the answers to questions that we didn’t even know that we were asking.

Virgo is the sign that deals with functionality. It’s efficient, and sometimes leans a little too far into perfectionism. This Full Moon stands at a distance, and shows you what is NOT working in your life, and why. Virgo at its core is a helpful sign, and won’t leave you hanging. Rather, this Full Moon will show you what has to change, and will show you the tools on how to do so.

 The Full Moon is a shining light on the situations in your life that need to be cleaned up, and there is no possible way to turn your head away from the new truths in your life. This is a great moon to handle your needs and what you have to do to have the life you dream of. In truth, there is a great deal of surrender here. There is no room for denial with this Full Moon.

We also have a gorgeous, healing Jupiter/Chiron opposition. If there is any pain in your healing or revelations, please know that it is in order to clear out emotional or spiritual debris that is not awesome for you. Odds are that you will be faced with situations that are uncomfortable; Jupiter will take the sting out of it, and offer you the long view of a situation.

It’s a simple Full Moon in many ways, yet incredibly dramatic. It’s the turning point for many of us. We can’t continue to live life with a blindfold, lying to ourselves and behaving in ways that smack of unrealistic thinking. This Full Moon wants to help us make the most of our lives. We certainly can do it; the universe will support us.

VENUS IN AQUARIUS: UNPREDICTABLE

One thing I can say with complete and utter certainty is that with Venus in Aquarius, you can’t quite predict her. She’s the electronica girl, with violet hair and a mean right hook that comes out of nowhere. You can’t tell her what to do, only wait and see what comes next.

Venus handles money, beauty and war. When Venus calmly enters Aquarius, she surveys the terrain impassively, knowing that she’s going to usher in mind blowing change in ways that may even surprise her. Here, she is the wild card, the ace in the hole…she’s the trick you didn’t know you had in you.

Venus making her way into Aquarius after the gritty land locked days of December and January will show us how we can live outside of the status quo, how we make our own rules…of how we can bend the rules enough to satisfy our need for freedom without totally destroying anything. Destruction is not the game that Aquarius wants to play; reform and uneasy evolution is her specialty.

We can become moguls here with a big outside the box ideas. True love can occur if you go on a date with some one who isn’t your usual type. You can win a battle by dreaming up a risky strategy.  You could remake your image by trying a wild new style. The weirder the better.
